Shahzaib Tariq

DPhil Student

My DPhil project focuses on the development of lentivirus-derived nanoparticles for the delivery of genome editors, that will aim to address the issues associated with current viral delivery options. My research is funded by the Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and Oxford Biomedica. My work will be supervised by Jakob Hansen Haldrup, Steve Hyde, and Dan Farley (Oxford Biomedica).

I hold BEng and MSc degrees in chemical engineering from Aston University and the University of Birmingham, respectively. Prior to starting my DPhil, I worked at Evox Therapeutics and as a research assistant in the Gene Medicine Group.
