Welcome to the EVAREST study website
Echocardiography - Value and Accuracy at Rest and Stress (EVAREST)
The EVAREST study is a multi-centre observational study examining the use, performance and accuracy of stress echocardiography in everyday clinical practice across the UK. To date, over 8000 patients have signed up to take part in this study from 31 NHS hospitals, making EVAREST one of the largest stress echocardiography studies in the world. EVAREST is run by a team of researchers in the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility, University of Oxford, led by Professor Paul Leeson, in conjunction with the cardiology research teams at the participating hospitals.
