Oxford University and Novo Nordisk have announced the establishment of an international postdoctoral fellowship programme to support research within the fields of diabetes, metabolism and endocrinology.

A total of 12 postdoctoral fellowships will be awarded, each for a 3 year period. The fellows will be hosted by Oxford University and funded by Novo Nordisk. The goal of the programme is to support the development of a new generation of research leaders while further developing scientific excellence within diabetes.

The programme will be coordinated through the Radcliffe Department of Medicine (RDM). The first four fellows in the programme will start in the autumn of 2014. Full details on the programme will be available shortly. Any queries should be directed to Dr Ruth McCaffrey.
