We recognise that this is a very anxious time for people with diabetes and endocrine disorders. As of 17 March 2020, the Government’s advice for people with diabetes, and for people taking hydrocortisone, prednisolone or other steroid replacement is to “be particularly stringent in following social distancing measures” to reduce transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19). This involves reducing the social interaction you have with people.
