On Thursday 11th September 2014 AVIC was host to members of the public to view the facilities and hear about the variety of research projects carried out in AVIC and how the Centre integrates with the OUH Trust. This was part of the Oxford Open Doors event which is a partnership between the Oxford Preservation Trust and the University of Oxford. The visitors were shown the angio suite and MRI scanner and given a demonstration of the MIYABI system.
Following the demonstration the visitors had an opportunity to ask questions. The visitors were interested to learn further about the different research projects and how patients become involved.
