I completed my PhD in Biochemistry at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. Throughout my PhD I worked in the laboratory of RECAMO (Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute, Brno) under the supervision of Dr Roman Hrstka. My thesis work focused on understanding the function of the Anterior Gradient Protein 2 (AGR2) in cancer progression and metastasis development.
I joined the Chapman group as a postdoctoral researcher in September 2019. In my project, I am focusing on the interplay of ATM and BRCA1-BARD1 complexes in promoting HR at the distinct DNA lesions.
