Getting to the John Radcliffe Hospital

Car parking in and around the hospital is extremely limited and we do not advise trying to park your car at the hospital, however, should you need to a copy of the JR site map is available to download, with the car park locations indicated. Oxford has two park and ride sites that serve the John Radcliffe Hospital, Please see the Oxford University Hospitals page for further information about buses from the park and ride services.
Staff Car Parking
Members of staff who have a genuine need to use their car to travel to work can apply for a parking permit. Please contact the parking office at the John Radcliffe Hospital for more information.
Cycling
There are a vast number of cycle routes that serve the John Radcliffe Hospital; the Oxfordshire County Council website has a map of the routes available.
By Bus/Coach

By Train
Oxford has two train stations. Oxford Station is in the centre of town and services from London (Paddington), Birmingham, Edinburgh and many other cites all arrive throughout the day; more information is available through the national rail website.
Oxford Parkway has a direct service to Bicester and London Marylebone and is located next to the Water Eaton Park and Ride.

By Plane
The nearest national and international airports are Birmingham and Heathrow, and connections to Oxford can either be made by Train or using services offered by Oxford Bus Company and National Express. Gatwick, Luton and Stansted airports are further away but connections to Oxford are also available.
