Led by Dr Karen Shaw, BTRU PPI Lead from the University of Birmingham, and co-authored with Patient Partners, BTRU in Precision Cellular Therapeutics has released an article in The Lancet which discusses current challenges, useful resources and future directions for patient and public involvement in translational medicine.

The commentary highlights the importance of PPI activities in translational projects and the impact that such engagement has on bridging the gap between preclinical research and clinical implementation.
