ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
The University expects all members of the University to observe the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the conduct of their research. The Research Integrity core course provides an introduction to good practice in research and is compulsory for all University researchers.
Anti-Bribery and Anti-Fraud
Conflict of interest
All University staff and students are required to recognise and disclose activities that might give rise to conflicts of interest or the perception of conflicts and to ensure that such conflicts are seen to be properly managed or avoided.
Equality and Diversity
Our EDI policies are designed to support an inclusive culture and highlight expectations of equality and diversity in the workplace.
Financial regulations
The University is governed by financial statutes and regulations. All employees must comply with these regulations and meet the financial control requirements of any financial processes made under these regulations.
Gifts and Hospitality
The University's staff and representatives must act, and be seen to act, at all times in a manner that is fair, impartial and without favouritism or bias.
Harassment and Bullying
RDM and the University do not tolerate any form of harassment or victimisation and we expect all members of the University community, its visitors and contractors to treat each other with respect, courtesy and consideration.
Health, Safety and Welfare
All members of staff are required to familiarise themselves with the University Health and Safety Policy. The University has an Occupational Health Service and an Equality and Diversity Unit which are available to support our staff.
IT Security
All University of Oxford staff have a responsibility to ensure that the information they hold is handled appropriately. Information Security training is mandatory for all our staff and needs to be completed once you have received your Oxford login.
PUBLIC INTEREST DISCLOSURE (WHISTLE-BLOWING)
The University places the greatest of importance on the integrity of its operations. This Code of Practice aims to assist any member of staff to disclose concerns without fear of retribution, and to provide a transparent and confidential process.
