The International Society for Regenerative Biology has announced Dr Anjali Kusumbe as the recipient of its 2023 Rising Star Award. The award is for early career researchers charting new directions and making novel scientific contributions in regenerative biology research.

The ISRB’s mission is to provide an inclusive and integrated community for scientists that study all aspects of regeneration in animals and plants, to advance awareness, discoveries, and applications of regenerative biology, to support and enhance key existing conferences and establish new meetings, and to enable a broader participation in regenerative biology research.

The 2023 awards will be presented at the inaugural ISRB meeting in Vienna, Austria, 3–6 September. Recipients are invited to give an award lecture on Day 2 of the meeting.

Congratulations Dr Kusumbe!
