For International Women's Day on 8th March 2025, women from the MRC WIMM reflect on why this day is so important, the barriers and biases women can face in their careers, and which women have inspired them.

International Women's Day is celebrated on the 8th of March each year to honour the achievements of women across all aspects of life - social, economic, cultural, and political - while also advocating for gender equality.

In this video, we speak to Anne Goirely, Mira Kassouf, Sumana Sharma and Sarah Gooding about what International Women's Day means to them.

We want to hear about your news!
