MRC WIMM HPC Manager
As a member of WIMM IT Team, I am managing the CCB cluster services with my teammates. The cluster is an important multi-tenant computing facility as it is where hundreds of researchers store and analyse their clinical data. It includes of a set of prebuilt software packages, a job dispatch system, a distributed file system, and an archival system for data backup.
Before joining WIMM, I studied at the University of Hong Kong on software transactional memory system for computing clusters. After that, I worked with a commercial high-performance computing service provider where I architected computing clusters and managed information security for a public cloud service.
